Con Edison of New York - Development of a system for on-line trading of natural gas that is used by the Gas Services division to procure, at optimal costs, the gas required by NYC and Westchester. The system includes net base EDI connections to major energy companies. It has been later adopted by the Power Generation division that procures gas as a clean fuel for its power plants. The system manages bidding, procurement and transportation of gas that has an estimated worth in the billions of dollars annually.

Volvo - Assisting Volvo with the development of the Volvo Enterprise Network (VEN), a network of extranets installed at North American dealerships. Worked on all phases from development of strategy to deployment. - Developed a centralized web security system that controls the security access of thousands of dealership personnel to the Volvo web servers (IIS and Domino) and to its back-end legacy systems. The system is in full production.

Implemented systems for publishing and reporting on the Volvo internet and extranets, including such components as report distribution to the extranet, web based inquiries and real-time web access to legacy data.

Developed a complex integrated Incentives System, which lets Volvo field personnel formulate objectives and performance measures, define financial awards, track performance of dealerships and sales personnel based on actual sales and generate award payments through the corporate financial systems. The system automatically generates payments in the hundreds of millions of dollars annually and includes a client-server based component for authoring and budget control for corporate users as well as a web based component for dealer use on the extranet.

PricewaterhouseCoopers - Developed over 30 extranet solutions for PricewaterhouseCoopers and its clients in a variety of industries. Provided critical security solutions for existing systems.

Columbia Business School - Developed a personalized courseware, special interests and career system for Columbia Business School students. The system allows students to use one username/password combination to login, interact with fellow classmates and participate in special interest groups online. The system uses Cold Fusion as its front end, and connects to a variety of databases including SQL Server, DB2, and Access.

Solution133.com, a joint venture by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Gifford Fong Associates, is an interactive resource of information and tools that allows companies to address the valuation, accounting and reporting requirements of FAS133 "Accounting for Derivative Investments and Hedging Activities". The site gives a full tour of the services available, detailed examples of the reports generated, and links to other FAS133 documentation. In only a few short months and under intense market pressure, a Diasoft team was able to deliver a complex financial system that is being used today by the Fortune 500 as a critical application component in their reporting to the SEC.

Rateyourself, a leader in the online self-assessment surveys, has a website where personality, career, general knowledge and love & sex quizzes attract a variety of people with a wide range of interests.
